There was only one road into Guinevere that branched in three directions: straight ahead to the Aglaia administration building, then left and right to curve around the whole campus. The winding roads and walking paths of Gwen U reminded her of a labyrinth, only dead ends led to lecture halls, labs, dorms, and student facilities and the rest wandered their way to the lake at the center of campus.

Aglaia rose up to meet her with all the grace and grandiosity of a grand dame descending a staircase in an old silver screen film, draped in marble folds and shimmering gold light. It wasn’t the largest building on campus, but it was the brightest jewel.
